Graceful-Butterfly

Yeah. I haven't really made any new works completely from scratch lately... I mostly just been coloring in the shops I work in at gaia online. :3 I have had the wonderful opportunity to color some lined work done of my avatar by a really talented girl on gaia; and another girl from gaia gave me permission to color one of her deviations! I really been working on my coloring methods. :3 Still need to do more on working on how to do shading.. I'm most interested in soft shading. Cell shading is ok and looks great on certain things.. but i think for my coloring styles.. something softer would be better. :D

Well, I was talking to someone on aim yesterday about how well I've been coming along with my line editing abilities. I was showing her a piece I did for myself at one of my gaia online pet shops. I got to talking to her about how I just utterly FAIL at hair. Hair.. and eye design. It might sound weird to say eyes. You can do anything and people can obviously tell it's an eye. However, I've seen some artists who make eyes feel so alive and vibrant! I just really believe well done hair and eyes can take an average image and really kick it up a few notches! Anyways... this person asked if I've been looking at tutorials on Dev Art. Well, no.
